How to Play RANK

A new ordering puzzle every day

RANK gives you six things and one hidden axis — runtime, population, release date, price, height, whatever the day calls for. Your job is to put all six in the correct order, from lowest to highest, in four guesses or fewer.

The rules

1. You start with the six items in a scrambled order.
2. Drag or nudge them into the order you think is right.
3. Submit your guess. Each item is marked:

• ✓ Green — correct spot. It locks and won't move again.
• ▲ Up arrow — this item belongs higher in the order.
• ▼ Down arrow — this item belongs lower.

The arrows tell you direction, not distance — so a single guess rarely gives the whole answer away. Use each round of feedback to narrow it down. Solve all six before you run out of guesses.

Streaks & sharing

Win days in a row to build a streak. When you finish, you can share a spoiler-free grid of your result — colored squares only, never the answer — so friends can try the same puzzle without it being ruined.

One a day

Everyone gets the same puzzle each day. A new one arrives at midnight UTC, and your progress and streak are saved on your device — no account needed.
